Atom Logic provides high quality safety related and non-safety related engineering services to the nuclear industry. Atom Logic specializes in digital instrumentation and controls (I&C) engineering for new plants (Generation 2 and 3+) in addition to upgrading and modernization of existing power plants around the world.

We have experience with all the necessary hardware and software components that makeup a complete I&C system. Atom Logic understands that clients want highly motivated individuals who have the right skills to hit the road running.

Atom Logic adapts to the needs of its clients by offering engineering services at the client’s site, the client’s central office, or at Atom Logic’s office. Services are available on a  fixed price basis, time and materials, or staff augmentation.

Project Management
Atom Logic has experience managing digital I&C projects from proposal development through to system commissioning at the plant site. Industry experience and OE has shown that digital I&C projects are not the same as system upgrade projects of the past. Utilize our project management experience that can minimize your risk and have you generating megawatts sooner.

Verification and Validation (V&V)
Atom Logic offers Verification and Validation (V&V) services for software-based systems. V&V services are available for safety-related systems, such as reactor protection systems (RPS), or non-safety systems. Atom Logic follows the guidelines contained in NRC Reg. Guide 1.168, which endorses IEEE 1012-1998. For an effective and timely V&V effort, the V&V team must be as knowledgeable or even better than the design team. Atom Logic has the knowledge and experience to provide an effective and timely V&V products.
Procedure Writing
Procedures are critical to the safe operation and improved uptimes of the plants. Atom Logic has on-staff a Certified Procedure Writer from the Procedure Professionals Association (PPA) for your administrative or technical procedure development needs.
